Is it far better to book in advance (which takes time) or it is considerably simpler to acquire a ticket durectly ahead of the departure? Thanks

  1. The TGV, TGE and TEE trains need an advance ticket reservation but for any other train you just buy it at the station where you can also buy the tickets for the super trains.

    If you are leaving from Bruxelles, then you need to go to Gare Central to buy your ticket and you will leave from there… you can also leave from Gare Midi, but if you are staying in a hotel in Bruxelles, then Gare Central would be the easiest for you.

  2. No there are not any problems. But booking in advance is obviously the best option and this way the ticket costs less. You can also buy it directly, no problem.
