A handful of good holidays by train in europe pictures I found:
The Millers Riding the Cog Railroad

Heading up Pilatus on the steepest cog railway in the world. Taken by the girl that we met who works in Manhattan for a firm in Zug, CH. So if she sees this, she must say hi.
The route to the best of Europe

So how do you get to the Prime of Europe then? By train obviously. Yep, these mad Swiss people decided "Lets put a funicular railway so you can go 3454m above sea level!"
The journey to the best of Europe is shown on the map above – you basically do the thing as a circuit. We decided, on a whim, to do it clockwise – grabbing the Berner Oberland train to Grindlewald, where we’d get the Wengeneralp Bahn to Kleine Scheidegg. When there, we just hop on the Jungfraubahn train to the Top of Europe! And then on the way back, get the Wengeneralp Bahn down to Lauterbrünen just before switching back onto the Berner Oberland Bahn.
Over the course of the day, we’d travel a vertical distance of 3000m.
The map incidentally was drawn by me in Inkscape and shows how the 3 railway lines interconnect with each and every other.
The Classy Train

Eurostar that is.
Not your typical train, oh no. How come we don’t get cool trains like this in the UK? I demand a lot more classyness from Scotrail in future.
If you get on this train by accident, woe betide you – as a man who’d completed just that.. properly.. ‘accident’ soon found out, as he was slapped with a nice huge fine.
