Question by : If I have a France/Italy Eurail pass, can I pass through Switzerland on a night train?
I hold a six travel day Eurail pass for France and Italy. I would like to take the 8:33pm train from Paris to Milan, but the train schedule says “A: Paris-Bercy –> via Switzerland.”
Will I be able to use my pass without paying an extra fee?

You’ll have to find an alternative route, or buy a ticket for the country you’re passing through. It’s all covered in the Eurail website FAQs: http://www.eurail.com/eurail-faq-country-not-covered
