InterRail 40 years, documentary.

On Monday, 4th June 2012, Eurail Group GIE hosted a media event to celebrate InterRail’s 40th anniversary. The celebration took place at the ‘Bayerische Bahnhof’ which is a former end station in Leipzig, built in 1842 and considered the oldest train station in Europe. International media from over 15 different European countries, railway carriers and special guests attended to celebrate this milestone in the history of InterRail Passes.

Wonderful film capturing the unique Interrail spirit. The music is well selected and adds the right drive. I just love some of the comments from the seasoned interrailers.

Great document. I almost understood everything, because we speak the same “interrail” language. My earlier trips 1985 and 1987. Next trip 2013. Can’t wait.

Great documentary.. i use to enjoy the benefits of InterRail as a young man..Great soundtrack too..but who’s the song at the final credits…sounds Spanish
